Emma Grant

 

Emma Grant is a paralegal within Howells’ debt team. She joined the firm's debt and welfare benefit team in 2008, having previously worked in the not for profit advice sector since 2003. Emma has previously worked at Castle Advice Service, Citizens Advice Bureau Debt Support Unit, Hallam Student Advice Centre and Social Services Welfare Rights Dept.

 

During her spare time, Emma continues to work as a volunteer, providing help and advice to voluntary organisations.

 

Graham HogarthGraham Hogarth LL.B (Hons)

 

Graham is head of the Civil and Community Law department at Howells. He qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and joined Howells in 2002, becoming a partner just 6 months later.

 

He was recently responsible for setting the Leicester CLAC, and has successfully established a vibrant, holistic service to provide legal support in the East Midlands. Pauline HutchinsonPauline Hutchinson

 

Pauline is a paralegal who joined Howells in 2003. Currently working with the firm’s welfare benefits and debt departments, Pauline has a degree in law awarded by the University of Sheffield.

Before joining Howells, Pauline worked as a welfare rights advisor for more than a decade, working as a debt advisor and with the Citizens Advice Bureau.  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  
  
 

  
Isabel Lloyd Jones  
Isabel Lloyd-Jones MA (Oxon)

 

Isabel works almost exclusively on clinical negligence cases, representing claimants only. She is head of the firm’s litigation department and joined Howells in 1987, having previously worked in Gloucestershire and Birmingham.

 

Isabel works across a wide range of medical areas, including failure to diagnose cancer, cerebral palsy, orthopaedic damage and surgical injury. Her caseload includes a number of catastrophic birth injuries, both settled and ongoing, and she has successfully dealt with a number of wrongful birth claims.

 

A member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel, formerley a member of the Legal Services Funding Review Committee and a subscriber to Lawyer Service of the Association for Victims of Medical Accidents.
