Chris Davey, BA (Hons)
Chris joined Howells in 1990 and is a partner in the criminal department – an area of law in which she specialises.
Before taking up private practice, Chris worked in a range of voluntary sector roles working with young people, including three years at the Children’s Legal Centre. Chris now specialises in the preparation of serious and complex crime cases in the firm’s Crown Court department.
Judith Seaborne, BA (Hons)
Judith has specialised in criminal law since joining Howells in 1996. She is head of the firm’s Crown Court Advocacy team and has Higher Court Rights to appear in the Crown Court.
Her expertise includes acting for environmentalists, in cases such as GM crop damage, and working on historic sex abuse cases.
