Liz ForrestLiz Forrest – LL.B (Hons)

Kath ElstonKathryn Elston

Mel HadwinMelanie Hadwin - LLB (Hons)
Melanie joined Howells in 2004 as a paralegal in the Family department.  After completing her training she qualified as a Solicitor in 2007.  She undertakes the full range of matrimonial work but specialises in divorce and separation cases involving financial and property matters, children work and domestic abuse cases.  She has a particular interest in dealing with Declarations of Parentage.  Melanie is a Member of the Sheffield District Law Society Committee and hopes shortly to become a Member of the local Resolution Committee.  Melanie is a member of Resolution.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
  
 
 
 
Joanne SandfordJoanne Sandford - F.Ilex

Joanne joined Howells in 2000. She specialises in family law.  She has a particular interest in domestic abuse cases and proceedings relating to the Children Act in particular difficult Children Act cases and abductions.

Sally has worked at a number of firms across South Yorkshire, specialising in the full range of family matters.  A Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, Sally joined Howells in 2008.

Dawn LowryDawn Lowry

Dawn has more than a decade’s experience of legal work. She joined Howells in August 2006 and specialises in matrimonial work and domestic abuse.

Karen MurphyKaren Murphy

Solicitor Karen Murphy joined the firm as a secretary in 2001. Following promotion to a paralegal position, she was the youngest person in Sheffield ever to become a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.

Chris Patrick – LL.B (Hons)

Based at our Rotherham office, Chris is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, which means he is able to specialise in public law proceedings representing children and other parties under the Children Act 1989.
