Liz Forrest – LL.B (Hons)

After completing her initial training at Howells, Liz worked in a number of other solicitors' firms before rejoining Howells in 2001. With 16 years experience, Liz undertakes the full range of matrimonial work, but specialises in domestic abuse and children work.  Liz is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in the areas of children work and domestic abuse and is on the management committee of Sheffield Woman's Aid.

Sharon Lockwood - LLB (Hons)
Sharon joined Howells in 2010, is a 6 year qualified Solicitor.  She has a broad ranging experience across the matrimonial law spectrum and has particular interest in finance and property cases.  Sharon is a member of the Resolution Accredited Specialist Panel with specialisms in advanced financial provision and private children law.

Joanne Sandford - F.Ilex

Joanne joined Howells in 2000.  She specialises in family law.  She has a particular interest interest in domestic abuse cases and proceedings relating to the Children Act in particular difficult Children Act cases and abductions.

She has been a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives since 1999. 

Sarah Walker – LL.B (Hons)

Sarah was admitted as a solicitor in 1997, having begun her legal career as a paralegal. Having specialized in family law since 2001, Sarah joined Howells LLP in 2004. She is a member of the Law Society Children Panel, the Law Society Family Law Panel and the Association of Lawyers for Children.

Rotherham

Chris Patrick – LL.B (Hons)

Based at our Rotherham office, Chris is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, which means he is able to specialise in public law proceedings representing children and other parties under the Children Act 1989.

He was admitted as a solicitor in 1994 and has a decade’s experience as a family law specialist.
