The Family Law team at Howells LLP – which has offices in Sheffield and Rotherham –has been awarded the highest possible rating in an independent review of our services, carried out by the Legal Services Commission.

All aspects of our work on family law – children, divorce, and finance and property advice, for example – were covered in the review of a random sample of files from across the whole department – and the final rating was one of excellence across the board.

 
This makes us one of the elite - Between April 2005 and February 2008, we were just one of 298 firms committed to providing publicly funding family work. During this time only five firms were categorised as excellent: Howells was one of them.

 
Our legal teams are highly experienced and many of our solicitors are members of the relevant legal panel for their area of expertise – a further independent endorsement of the quality of our work.
