Isabel Lloyd-Jones, MA (Oxon)
Isabel works almost exclusively on clinical negligence cases, representing claimants only. She is head of the firm’s litigation department and joined Howells in 1987, having previously worked in Gloucestershire and Birmingham.
Isabel is experienced in a wide range of medical areas, including failure to diagnose cancer, cerebral palsy, orthopaedic damage and surgical injury and catastrophic birth injuries.
A member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel, formerly a member of the Legal Services Funding Review Committee and a subscriber to Lawyer Service of the Association for Victims of Medical Accidents.
Tania Harrison, LL.B (Hons)
Tania has worked exclusively in clinical negligence, personal injury and professional negligence involving clinical negligence matters since being admitted as a solicitor in 2005. She joined Howells in 2006 after working for a city firm in Leeds. She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Tania has an excellent track record in securing the best possible outcomes for her clients and is experienced in a wide range of medical negligence areas including birth injuries, delay and failure in diagnosing cancer, dental negligence, ophthalmic damage, orthopedic damage and surgical injury.
Michelle Gyte
Senior solicitor Michelle Gyte is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel and has had nine years’ experience of clinical negligence work following completion of her law degree at Sheffield Hallam University and her Legal Practice Course at the University of Sheffield.
She chose to specialise in clinical negligence because of the positive impact a successful claim can have on improving someone’s life after medical treatment goes wrong or an illness is misdiagnosed.
